Butterfly Koi Gyotaku – Limited Edition Giclée on Archival Paper | Hand Signed & Stamped 🎏
This is a limited edition Giclée reproduction of a handmade Butterfly Koi Gyotaku. The original print was created using acrylic ink on Thai Mulberry paper, with the eye meticulously painted using iridescent, metallic, and standard acrylic paints to match the natural brilliance of the fish.
This artwork holds deep sentimental value—it was originally commissioned as a memorial for a koi named Flash, who was tragically lost in a flood during Hurricane Helene. After 14 cherished years, this piece became a beautiful way to honor his memory and presence.
Each reproduction is printed using Giclée technology on premium archival paper, ensuring rich color fidelity and museum-quality longevity. Every print is individually hand signed, numbered, and marked with my Japanese Hanko (Name Stamp)—a traditional seal of authenticity.
If you're interested in original prints, alternate sizes, or custom memorials, please reach out. I’m happy to take custom orders on a case-by-case basis.
