King Mackerel Duo Gyotaku – Limited Edition Giclée on Archival Paper | Hand Signed & Stamped
This is a limited edition reproduction of an original Gyotaku depicting two powerful King Mackerel attacking a school of Greenbacks. The original piece was hand-printed using iridescent and metallic acrylic inks on rich black Thai Mulberry paper, capturing the shimmer and energy of these pelagic predators. Each fish’s eye was meticulously hand-painted with watercolors to reflect the striking realism of the catch.
The Kingfish featured were caught while fishing off the coast of St. Petersburg, Florida, and the Greenbacks used in the print were provided by a local fishing guide—adding a deeply personal and authentic touch to the composition.
Each reproduction is created using museum-grade Giclée printing with archival pigments on fine art paper, ensuring vibrant color and longevity. Every piece is made to order, hand signed, numbered, and stamped with my Japanese Hanko (Name Stamp) for authenticity.
