Hogfish Gyotaku Print – Limited Edition Giclée Reproduction with Sea Fan Accent – Archival Wall Art Signed & Numbered
This is a limited edition giclée reproduction of my original Hogfish Gyotaku (魚拓) print, created with acrylic ink on Thai Mulberry paper. The eyes are delicately hand-painted with watercolor to mirror the lifelike appearance of this vibrant reef species.
To enhance the natural beauty of the piece, an ethically collected sea fan was pressed into the original artwork—adding texture and visual depth inspired by the Hogfish’s native coral reef habitat.
Each print is produced with museum-quality giclée printers, using archival paper and pigment inks to ensure your investment will last for generations. All prints are made to order, then hand signed, numbered, and sealed with my Japanese Hanko (name stamp) for authenticity.
🎣 Interested in an original, a custom size, or another species? I happily accept custom requests—just send me a message!
Gyotaku is a traditional Japanese art form dating back to the mid-1800s, originally used to preserve a record of special catches. Today, it offers a timeless and artisanal way to commemorate the fish you love.
